AT CÉCILE FEILCHENFELDT 2022

Context : 4rd Semester Textile Design HSLU
Tutor: Cécile Feilchenfeldt, Paris 15ème
Date : April 2022 - July 2022
Technique : Knitting Machines Passap Duo80
Clients: Balenciaga, Louis Vuitton, Balmain
Under the guidance of designer Cécile Feilchenfeldt, I was able to deepen my knowledge in knitting on the semi-automatic machine Passap Duo 80. I worked on four main projects, some of them shown at the 2022 summer fashion shows of Balenciaga and Louis Vuitton. In addition to a more precise way of working, I sharpened my eye for material, my visions of the possible became more fantastic.

I am very grateful to have had the opportunity to learn from Cécile Feilchenfeldt and her assistant Clémentine Udron.

Cécile Feilchenfeldt for Balenciaga Fall Couture 2022
Under the instruction of Cécile Feilchenfeldt and her assistant Clémentine Udron, I worked on Look #9. As using beads is one of Cécile's most famous techniques, this dress is completely covered in small Swarovski stones.

This top in wool with beads is one of two pieces that Cécile Feilchenfeldt with assistance Clémentine Udron just finish for Louis Vuitton when I began my internship. Under guidance but independently, I knitted and sewed more pieces for sale during my stay.
Cécile Feilchenfeldt for Balmain for Björk
The dress by Balmain with a knitted top part was part of the Balmain Fall 2022 Ready-to-Wear collection. For a show at la Seine Musicale in June 2022, singer Björk chose the futuristic look and I was able to work on the piece while being an intern at Studio Cécile Feilchenfeldt in Paris.

Knitted jewelry by Cécile Feilchenfeldt
Cécile Feilchenfeldt is also constantly working on new jewellery creations. Salons are the perfect situation to show new developments, therefore I was able to help composing and finalize the shown necklace for the "Salon Révévelations" 2022 at the Grand Palais Éphémère, Paris. The piece has been published in the magazine "Paris vous aime" N.11
